John "JJ" Johnson

They've been a constant source of support for one another, always there to offer advice and encouragement. Alan has often reminded JJ during challenging times, "JJ, are you serious? You ALWAYS end up better than when you started!"

Their shared experiences are countless: long drum corps bus trips where they were inseparable (though Alan might argue against JJ's tendency to fall asleep and lean on him!), the world's longest dart game in Key West, celebrating JJ's 40th birthday on a cruise, working together on DCI and FFCC staff, and countless meals and days filled with laughter.

And who could forget the legendary pranks? Like the time Alan hid in the pantry, giving JJ such a fright that he nearly broke his arm while "speaking in tongues." Or the mysterious birthday present that kept JJ guessing for weeks.

Through it all, their friendship has remained steadfast. JJ is incredibly proud to stand beside Alan as his best man, sharing in the joy of his union with Megan. He is honored to witness this special day and celebrate the love between his dear friend and his new bride.
